Fairy, There’s Something Wrong with Your Eyes

Bai Ruo, the eighth daughter of the Queen Mother of the West, rarely showed herself.

It was because of her eye condition: she couldn't tell beauty from ugliness.

From childhood, she lived in the Purple Bamboo Grove, keeping the Bodhisattva company day and night.

After her elder sisters found matches among mortals,

Bai Ruo's heart stirred too.

But the one she fell for was Marshal Tianpeng, Zhu Bajie.

When she learned that Marshal Tianpeng had become a Buddha,

she lost heart and planned to devote herself to studying Buddhism.

Bai Ruo was innocent and naive, mischievous and troublesome.

The Bodhisattva couldn't take it anymore and simply kicked her down the mountain.

Bai Ruo didn't want to return to Heaven, so she went to wander among mortals.

Then she was captivated by a butcher who was

eight chi tall, dark-skinned, and had a fiercely ugly face.

Little scene

"There are such handsome men among mortals! I like him so much!"

Er Zhuzi chopped pork while watching Bai Ruo swoon over him.

He thought to himself,

"This girl's eyes may have a problem, but she's as beautiful as a nation-toppling beauty. I'm so ugly that I really shouldn't be picky. But what if she cheats on me later?"

After they married,

Bai Ruo went out to buy groceries, followed by a crowd of young, talented men who coveted her beauty.

Er Zhuzi was about to step in and teach them a lesson,

when he saw Bai Ruo knock them all down with a left hook and a right hook.

"You're all so ugly, and you still dare get in my way!"

Then she threw herself into Er Zhuzi's arms.

"My husband is the most handsome of all!"

A little fairy who can't tell beauty from ugliness and a tough-looking butcher

The female lead sees the male lead through a filter, an incredibly thick one.
