The Prince's Enchanting Maid

023 was an insignificant nobody among the insect race.

During a war with the Empire,

she was used as a human shield

to protect the insect queen from an attack by the Imperial general Mo Shu.

At the very last moment, 023 struck back with all her strength and hit Mo Shu.

Then 023 kicked the bucket.

When she regained consciousness, she had become a poor little beggar on ancient Earth.

Looking at the strangely dressed humans before her,

023 was utterly confused.

"Oh, you poor thing! Would you like to come home with me?"

023 couldn't understand what she was saying, but she could sense that the human before her meant no harm.

After cautiously nodding, 023 followed her.

The old woman led 023 to a courtyard's back gate.

"Come on."

023 nodded and followed her inside.

And so 023 became an honorable little maid whose job was to sweep the floors.

Prince Xuan, Mo Xuan, is the younger brother of the current emperor.

An elegant young man with a face like jade,

the dream lover of countless young women in the capital.

He went to war at thirteen, killing countless enemies and earning countless merits.

At eighteen, he was struck by a deadly poison. Unwilling to make his mother and elder brother grieve,

he went to a small county town, intending to let himself waste away.

One day, when the poison flared up and the pain became unbearable, he was about to end his own life

when, with a "Bam!"

a little maid fell out of the sky. Not only did she take liberties with him while he was unconscious, she then acted as if she'd done him a favor and complained that he was ugly.

Who could put up with that? And so Prince Xuan began a campaign to lure her in, but every time, he was the one left furious enough to spit blood. What a tragic tale!

A heroine with bizarre taste who is also a timid little coward, and a hero who threatens and tempts her until he ends up spitting blood in frustration.
