A Kind Russian

*Please click to show interest in the upcoming story, thank you so, so much! (Bows down) Most of the plot is original. The source work has no related companies or characters, so please don't overanalyze it. The entire story is currently being revised. Fei Jia opened his eyes again and found himself in an unfamiliar city. With no identification whatsoever, he was an undocumented person who had to figure out from the start how to survive in a city crawling with lunatics. He decided to create several identities for himself and take odd jobs all over the place. But these identities drew too much attention, so he had no choice but to move to a new city whenever he had been working somewhere for a while. From Gotham to Bludhaven, then to Star City, Central City, Metropolis, New York... He went from being a temp worker to an executive at a new energy technology company. He struck a deal with a kindhearted man who was about to become president. He had thought everything would go according to plan: eliminate the superpowered people of this world and set it on the path toward his ideal world. Instead, his ideal plan fell apart halfway through, and he ended up betraying his partner while being betrayed in turn. A miraculous technology tree gave him a new idea. If he couldn't eliminate superpowers, why not synchronize his own thoughts with everyone? The theory held up, but the experiment failed. The fist of justice came crashing down from above. A well-meaning Russian just passing through, now proudly residing in Arkham. Many years later, long since released from Arkham and finished with his friendly relations with the neighbors, Fei Jia was interviewed as a successful entrepreneur. “Oh, you want to know my goal now? I'm working hard to earn the title of Gotham's Friendliest Citizen ^^” Warnings: The timeline doesn't follow N52 or P52 exactly, and includes headcanons. If that bothers you, proceed with caution. Marvel has a small role and won't be a focus. Iron Man probably won't appear until around the time of the third-generation Robins. I've put the warnings up front. There's a considerable time gap between when I started and when I resumed writing this story, since it was on hiatus for a long time. I may forget what I wrote earlier halfway through, so there could be frequent revisions. 1. No romance, focused on the protagonist. 2. Fei Jia from Bungo Stray Dogs transmigrates into the DC universe. Since this is fanfiction, some out-of-character behavior is unavoidable. If that bothers you, proceed with caution. 3. The main point of view is on the DC side, with some Marvel plotlines woven in later. 4. His ideas will gradually change, and he'll start exploring some strange branches of the tech tree. 5. No redemption arc, and he won't join the DC villains or heroes. He remains an outsider throughout. 6. The ending will most likely be open-ended. 7. 50% anti-theft protection, 12 hours. Theme: Respect the old and cherish the young, and be kind to your neighbors.
