A Player's Guide to Operating in Gotham

One day, a player opened a game capsule and launched a life simulation game called Happy, Prosperous Gotham City.

Character created. Game started. The player unhesitatingly hit skip and jumped straight to the results screen. The word "Dead" stabbed into his eyes.

Summary: The Joker escaped from prison. You were eating a grilled sausage by the roadside when a flying car flattened you. You died.

Player: ?

He started a new game. The familiar opening, but the Joker hadn't escaped.

He chose to skip straight ahead again.

Summary: The Riddler brought a new riddle to Gotham. You became the backdrop to this farce. The bomb under your seat exploded. You died.

Player: ?

The player's anger meter was halfway full when a pop-up asking him to pay for in-game currency left him speechless.

In a fit of rage, he spent six yuan.

System: Congratulations! You've unlocked an exclusive skill: The first time you search a trash can each day, you are guaranteed a gold item.

Player: ?

Just as the player's exploration progress began to rise, he suddenly unlocked the friends system.

What do you mean I can become friends with these NPCs?

As he played, he discovered that each friend also had an affection level and an intimacy level.

Didn't they cram way too many things into this game?

After finally maxing out his friendship with the first NPC he'd met, the game told him that this NPC was about to meet his destined death?

1. Third-person perspective, DC fanfiction, no other worlds.

2. No CP, fourth-dimensional disaster, and the player is a bit of a troublemaker.

3. Friendship-focused. The player's attitude toward the game will gradually change.

4. Happy ending, no one gets hurt.

5. Bruce is gentler in the early chapters, and family conflicts are slowly being resolved.

OOC is mine, the characters belong to everyone. Please don't fight.
