West River Moon

"I once dreamed of being a wise ruler, wielding power and commanding the realm. Even if it meant enduring the pain of cold iron carving into my flesh, even if it meant risking my life without hesitation. Then I met you, and realized there were too many things a wise ruler could never have. Suddenly, I no longer wanted to be a wise ruler. I wanted you to be the woman by my side, to see my realm with me, standing alongside heaven and earth, shining as brightly as the sun and moon."

"After you left, I built the Liuhe Pagoda and the Bahuang Terrace. When spring grass sprouts, you often come to me in my dreams."

That snowy night, you came through the snow, lantern in hand.

Behind you stretched a splendid landscape of mountains and rivers.

I am blessed beyond measure to see an old friend again.

A gentle, kind, innocent heroine and an obsessive, ruthless, brutal hero

SC, 1v1. This isn't a fluffy, sugary romance, but the leads love each other very much, truly and deeply. The main couple won't go through angst!
