The Mystical Black Bird of Destiny

The high and mighty Imperial Princess is suddenly cursed by thousands, yet still walks calmly into the sacrificial pit.

The executioner who takes over at the last minute scoops her up with one arm and breaks through with a blade in the other. Even with arrows piercing his heart, he refuses to let go.

What is going on?

The Crown Prince's private soldiers and the Xiqi private soldiers, lying in wait in the shadows, take advantage of the chaos.

Crown Prince brother: Which little punk cut in?

Xiqi hostage prince: As long as my fiancee is safe, that's all that matters.

The executioner who escapes with her gently sets the Imperial Princess down and drops to one knee. "Lu Wu was too late."

Imperial Princess: I'm alive! But who are you? Why do you have the same name as my guardian deity?

Lu Wu: Good news: I saved my wife ^_^ Bad news: my wife has forgotten who she is :)

Noble, refined, heaven-blessed Imperial Princess x an unkillable, brooding werewolf

An alternate universe. The story is outlined, the writing is awful, and this is a practice piece. I'm trying my hand at an ensemble cast, including but not limited to amnesia and the white moonlight trope... I'll add more later if I think of anything. Slow burn, or maybe no burn. The main couple's romance isn't angsty. They both choose each other and love one another deeply.
