Love is long in life, and long in death. Even reduced to bones and scattered to smoke, it cannot be forgotten.
Xiao Peiyun often dreamed of that spring in March, when willow catkins filled the sky and she married in splendor. The joy that stretched across the capital blazed like the morning sun. He stood among the crowd in embroidered robes and a jade crown, his smile dazzling.
Later, that brilliant red blossomed into flowers covering the road to the underworld. He came back drenched in blood and consumed by hatred, a death-dealing Rakshasa from the depths of hell. Only then did she realize that three years of married bliss had been nothing but a sharp blade he wielded for revenge. Their former tenderness had been no more than a dream in the fleeting years they shared.
Upcoming novel: The Years I Spent as a Villain
Tang Mingzhu only learned, after hearing a storyteller, that the villain people called a homewrecker, a bully to her sisters, ugly and black-hearted, wicked and depraved, was none other than herself. She was so furious she couldn't catch her breath, blacked out, and died on the spot.
Reborn, Tang Mingzhu decides to embrace her fate and become a proper villain. But the first time she tries to do something bad, she panics badly and ends up hiding under He Minglang's desk.
In his previous life, He Minglang trusted the wrong person and lost his life for it. This time, he intends to make everyone pay him back for what they owe. So when Tang Mingzhu first does something bad in front of him, he grabs her by the scruff and forces her to work for him. Only later does he realize that this fierce little girl is all bark and no bite, and that her life is more miserable than anyone's.
When their secret is exposed, his conscience suddenly stirs. He risks his life sneaking into the young lady's chambers to ask if she'll run away with him. But lanterns light up the whole courtyard, and her stepmother catches them together. Their elopement falls through, but instead it brings about a marriage.
At the start of their marriage, he says, "Your name is Mingzhu, and mine is Minglang. Our names sound like siblings. There's no way we'll fall in love!"
Later, with the world at his feet and her in his arms, he smiles and says, "Our names sound like a perfect pair. We were made for each other."
Honestly, men!
A paper-tiger fake villainess heroine vs. a truly scheming villainous hero
A sweet romance focused on the relationship!
Theme: Love and hate have never been easy to tell apart
Why did the two of them start cosplaying? Hahahaha. I remember that the hero owed the heroine a book cosplay in the story book before!!
DaDa still writes new articles. I really like DaDa's articles!! This book would be great if it had more extras. Big!!
The writing is very fluent. I couldn't understand it at first, but after carefully reading their entanglement, I felt relieved. The actions of the male and female protagonists are worthy of their identities and experiences. They are not right or wrong and should get the ending they want.
It's really beautiful(//?//)
The first volume was really well written and left me wanting more. The arrangement of the characters and the setting of the plot didn't make me feel superfluous. When reading ancient novels, I basically only remember the paths of the male and female protagonists, but when reading this book, I can remember the character as soon as he appears for the second time. The first half of the second volume was actually okay, but I was really dissatisfied with the second half. Especially at the end, it was super messy. It felt like a mindless attempt to increase the plot or to make up the word count. It made me emm (the old man on the subway looking at his cell phone), which was in sharp contrast to the previous volume. I hope the author can maintain the same quality of writing as the previous volume, but I still want to praise the author, it's good. I originally wanted to see what you would write next, but I came across the type of novel that I dislike the most, about rebirth and time travel, so I had no choice but to miss it. See you again in the future!
Good looking!!! Support the author greatly
In fact, the male protagonist is really much more miserable than the female protagonist. His father and brother were plotted to death while defending the family and the country, his mother was humiliated to death, and the two sons of the uncle's family were also killed by the female protagonist's father. In this case, it is really the most benevolent thing to leave the female protagonist's brothers, nieces, etc. After all, the female protagonist still has relatives, and the male protagonist is basically a loner! But the author's hatred is really too great!
I want to see more extras in the future, but I don't know if I'll write them again.
This chapter is really... Toxic as a side story. I re-experienced Xiao Huo's mental journey.
Damn, are there no extra episodes for the male and female protagonists?
