Illusory glimmers, a twist of fate, a stolen dream.

I urge you not to ask about the past, for this is but a moment of stolen pleasure.

Lian Qing met Qi Chen after a great fire.

They fell in love at first sight, married, and lived together...

But if she could choose again,

Lian Qing thought,

she would rather never have met Qi Chen.

In the end, they could not overcome the demons lurking in people's hearts.

Their love, when all was said and done, was a tragedy.
