[Bungo Stray Dogs] Taming a Mad Dog with Good Food

Oikawa Aki met a brother and sister.

They were thin and tiny, looking utterly pitiful, like stray puppies in a cardboard box by the roadside. They would gaze at her with damp, pleading eyes, impossible not to love.

As the older one, she rolled up her sleeves and decided to do her very best to make even more delicious food, so she could fatten up these two poor little things.

Until, during a trip to Yokohama, she discovered that the black-clad boy she'd thought was frail but hardworking, struggling to support his siblings, strong, independent, sensible, obedient, gentle, and pitiful had killed a man without even blinking.

Oikawa Aki: ...

Akutagawa Ryunosuke: ...

Is it too late to pretend I've suddenly gone blind?

A few things to know before reading:

1. This is my first attempt at a food story. It's warm and sweet, with no angst, and a happy ending.

2. It's probably just a short story of a few tens of thousands of characters.

3. There may be all sorts of out-of-character moments.

4. It's a younger rabid dog x older gentle big sister pairing! Who wouldn't want a gentle big sister who can cook delicious food? I want one too.

Theme: Long live good food!
