All reader subscription revenue earned before this novel's main story is complete will be donated. This is an obscure Western fantasy genre, so the earnings are meager, about half a cup of Snow King milk tea a day. My health has been poor lately, with liver damage, hypothyroidism, and metabolic issues, so I can't drink milk tea anyway. I might as well donate what little I can.
I'm doing this for myself, too. Keeping my promise will motivate me to finish the story. And only by doing this can I completely set aside the pressure of worrying about statistics and rankings. I have severe bipolar disorder and anxiety, and tend to care too much about those things. This will help me ensure the story's quality. I truly love this novel and want to do it justice. I want to make the beautiful, flower-filled ideals of my girl, the female lead, come true.
The main story is told in third person.
The demon dragon Bosa commits every evil imaginable. He claims the gift the old gods left to the world, burns cities with dragonfire, and kidnaps the empire's princess. The emperor is furious and orders a party to be assembled to slay the demon dragon.
But there's something strange about this party.
Me, a mage, with a whole regiment of undead behind me.
The hero, a swordsman, but his weapon is a soul-devouring demon sword that rebels if it doesn't eat a soul every day.
The healer, a priestess, but she believes that "if you kill the enemies, your teammates won't get hurt," so she's always charging into battle with a cleaver.
The ranged fighter, an elf archer with severe nearsightedness. His glasses are broken.
Can this team really make it all the way to the demon dragon?
※
To compete for the mage's position in the demon dragon-slaying party, I face off against the empire's chief court mage in a one-on-one duel.
The duel begins. I swing my staff, and sixteen skeletons rise from the ground, charging at the chief mage like unleashed rabid dogs.
"Stop! This isn't one-on-one at all!"
※
On the day we arrive in the capital of Bini, they say a horrendous murder has taken place in the city. The killer is unknown, and the whole city is to be sealed off until the culprit is found.
From across a street, I take out my staff and wave it in the direction of the victim's coffin.
"Holy crap! The dead person's moving! H-he's talking!"
"Quick, ask him who the killer is!"
[Reading Notes]
※I've changed the blurb, though it was a long time ago. I still want to apologize to the dear readers who originally added it to their collections. If it doesn't suit you anymore, feel free to remove it. (Apologies again.)
※Western fantasy adventure, set in a world abandoned by the gods.
※The female lead is a Mary Sue and a jerk. She's heartless and incredibly powerful in every way, including combat. Her teammates aren't right in the head, but they come through when it counts. They're all ridiculously overpowered, not one of them is ordinary. The vibe is a gang that bickers and fools around but stays united as they journey west, taking on side quests along the way, like in Journey to the West. If that's not your thing, I recommend not reading.
※The female lead will help the world completely break free of the old gods' shackles. Her two main love interests are an undead knight and the God of Light. The knight stays by her side and will be resurrected. The God of Light is purely a background figure in the worldbuilding.
※It won't be very long. I'm writing it for fun, to satisfy my own tastes.
[Here's a preview of my upcoming novel, Manor in the Apocalypse [Base Building]. Here's the blurb. If you're interested, you can add it to your collection from my author page.]
[Dear Yun Chu:
By the time you read this letter, I will already be gone. But I've prepared a special birthday present for you in advance. I hope you'll like it.
From your loving grandfather]
Yun Chu suddenly receives a letter.
Enclosed is a deed to a piece of land. Following the address, Yun Chu finds a run-down, desolate manor overgrown with weeds.
That day, disaster strikes. Zombies run rampant, and Blue Star becomes an apocalyptic wasteland.
Trapped in the manor, Yun Chu gets a System.
[Please repair the manor and survive the apocalypse.]
[Found [Unknown Seed] x1. Please plant it.]
[The [Shop] is now open. Items are in stock and ready for purchase!]
[A guest has arrived at the manor. Please welcome them!]
Yun Chu looks at the zombie poking its head around the manor gate, then at the [Canned Rice] in the shop interface.
"...System, are you serious? Do you really think they'll eat rice and pay for it?"

There's a rumor going around the apocalypse:
On Blue Star, now reduced to a wasteland, a young woman runs a magical manor. The sky is blue, the grass is green, the water is clear, and the food is delicious. It's an ideal refuge in the apocalypse.
People call it the "Manor in the Apocalypse."
Theme: No matter what hardships you face, stay true to yourself and keep moving forward.
I wish you a speedy recovery, and I'm still waiting to read the entire book [Hands together]
OK🎊Come on, come on, come on
