Another one of my self-indulgent stories (and a pitfall)
In this story, dear readers may come across lots of déjà vu. If a plot point, setting, or background feels familiar, please go back and take another look at the title.
Reading this story might feel like one of the following:
1. Tsk, I bet I can guess how this story ends.
2. The killer/criminal/boss is xx, right? It's so obvious.
3. Why does the heroine keep attracting creeps? And isn't her Mary Sue aura a little too bright?
4. Hehehe, thrilling, hehehe...
5. I don't play horror games, and this is my first time reading a story like this. Why can't I follow the plot? One part doesn't connect to the next, some things make no logical sense, and I can't tell flashbacks from events out of order. By the end, I'm totally confused by all the wild twists. Is this what you call a horror game? Heh, I'm into it.
6. It's gone off the rails! It's gone off the rails! It's gone off the rails! It's gone off the rails! (screams hysterically)
Premise: Let readers relive the horror-game tropes of years past through the heroine's perspective.
