A Fantastical Tang Dynasty [Journey to the West]

Le Tianjiao: Hello, everyone. My name is Le Tianjiao. Good thing my surname isn't Zhao. I heard a monkey calling himself the Great Sage Equal to Heaven was crushed beneath two mountains, bragging that he could travel 50,000 kilometers in a somersault! Le Tianjiao: Wow! In a Tang dynasty without planes or high-speed trains, he's a super-cool ace courier! Why make him a bodyguard? What a waste of human resources! I heard there's a dragon in Eagle Grief Gorge who's so hungry he's going to become someone's mount? Le Tianjiao: A dragon that can summon wind and rain is an advanced irrigation system! Why be a mount? That's a waste of talent! Also known as: That Tang Sanzang Has Had His People Poached Again and Again! Reader's guide: Journey to the West meets science. Don't expect the logic to stand up to scrutiny. This story follows the author's own logic: it's a lighthearted power fantasy, silly and conspiracy-free!
