Why Is She at the Scene Again?

Synopsis:

An Xiluo (Hilo Harris) earned a master's degree at a well-known university in China, but still couldn't find a decent job.

All she could get was an unpaid errand-running internship.

After repeated setbacks, An Xiluo slunk back to her childhood home in Britain,

where she stumbled upon an old, cat-shaped translator while clearing out the basement.

"Ding! Congratulations, young master! You've successfully activated the 'Reporting Big News from Around the World' series of missions! A keen eye for news and the speed to reach the scene at once are basic qualities every reporter should have!"

An Xiluo didn't take these so-called missions seriously, until she woke up the next morning and found herself instantly transported from her home in Oxford to the streets of Washington.

???

Before she could figure out what was happening, a deafening explosion rang out.

Damn!

Washington... had been nuked!

From then on

The Japan tsunami

The Paris serial killings

The Arctic survivors

The New York bank heist

The Australian bushfires

The Namibia poaching incident

An Xiluo was always right there on the scene!
