* A lighthearted, sweet little romance. Please add it to your favorites, mwah!

1.

What do you do when you owe a fortune to your childhood friend, the fussy little princess? Since a father's debts fall to his son, Qin Beiyang has no choice but to go over every day to cook for her, prepare desserts, and then use his brilliant brain to tutor her.

At first, he thought that slowly repaying the Yan family's kindness would be enough.

2.

Who could have guessed that the elusive heartthrob and top student of Y High would be working at a rich young lady's house, nagging her and coaxing her to eat?

3.

Yan Xi knew that even if her brain evolved for another hundred years, she could never catch up to that guy. But she was determined to work hard and reach the place he was headed. If she lacked intelligence, she could make up for it with money. Her family owned a mine, so she had nothing to worry about.

But if only money could buy someone's heart, too. The older she got, the more she realized she couldn't squeeze her way into his world.

One day, Male Lead X, certain of his victory, asked her a soul-searching question.

"What makes you think you can pursue her? The heiress of the Yan Group is out of your league."

Qin Beiyang: "Because I raised her from a helpless little baby, through all the feeding and diaper changing."

Yan Xi: "I'll kill you within three days!!"

Qin Beiyang: "Do you know the half-life of C-14? It's not even a thousandth of the time I've spent waiting for you, somewhere in the depths of fate."

Yan Xi: "Ugh, what the heck..."

Content warning: She pursues him at first, and the male lead is slow to catch on. The story doesn't go as far as marriage and children.
