The Couple You Ship Got Together

The year after Lu Huansheng had won so many Best Actor awards he could barely keep count, a young man came to stay at his home. He was a senior's son, just starting out in the industry. The senior asked Lu Huansheng to keep an eye on him. “Our Wen Ning is just trying this out on a whim. The industry is a mess, but with your reputation behind him, things should go more smoothly.” Lu Huansheng was at a loss. A boy who'd only just turned eighteen, pampered and sheltered, living in his house? He didn't expect the kid to be a fan of his. At their first meeting, Wen Ning was so sweet and well-behaved that he even asked for an autograph. After getting it, he was overjoyed. “Can I take a photo of your signature and post it on Weibo?” Later Lu Huansheng: “Don't just take pictures of the signature and the figurine. I'm right here in front of you. Aren't you going to take a picture of me?” Wen Ning: “What if the fans figure it out?” Lu Huansheng: “Then tell them! The CP you're shipping got together. What are they going to do about it?” Lu Huansheng's fans suddenly discovered a new super-topic pairing their Lu-ge with an obscure nobody from the bottom of the industry. Fans: “That nobody should stop trying to piggyback on our Lu-ge. What kind of trash is this? You brainless fans can take your precious idol and get lost.” “The nobody's fans have egos as big as basins.” But then the fans discovered that Lu Huansheng himself had followed the super-topic. Then someone dug up the truth The super-topic had been started by Lu Huansheng himself. The “nobody” was the young heir of the top-tier Wen family. He'd been born with a silver spoon in his mouth and shares in the family business, earned his bachelor's degree at eighteen, and graduated from Curtis, one of the world's most prestigious music conservatories. Fans: “Baby is so handsome!” “Hubby, love me!” “Another day of shipping this god-tier CP.” #No real-life inspiration. This is all made up. #Please don't tell me how to write.
