Official blurb: Chao Juan is known as an unparalleled beauty, “as cold as frost and snow, as gorgeous as peach blossoms.” Countless men pursue and adore her, while countless women resent and envy her. Even her mysterious disappearance sparks rumors that some mighty tycoon has imprisoned her at his side. - Yan Yongwang is known as a ruthless tycoon who “holds the world in the palm of his hand and commands the winds of change.” Countless women send him flirtatious glances, while countless men would gladly grovel at his feet. He is cold and gloomy, free of worldly desires, and no woman has ever managed to get into his bed. Until one day, his secretary sees a cold-faced beauty, tears on her cheeks, walking out of his room. That face... It is unmistakably Chao Juan, whose disappearance months ago had made headlines. Secretary: . [So far, it looks like a story of an overbearing tycoon forcing a romance on someone, full of angst.] [The real secret of this story begins below.] Recently, Yan Yongwang has been watching a hit melodrama about a tragic romance. In the middle of his hectic work schedule, only trashy dramas can comfort him. Then he cried his eyes out. The cold-faced tycoon stared expressionlessly at the hero and heroine on the TV, tears streaming down his face. What the hell, this is way too heartbreaking! As he cried, he forgot the biggest secret about himself, and forgot when his secretary usually came by to deliver documents. He walked out of his room. Then he saw his secretary, who stared at him in shock. “Chao... Chao Juan?” The cold-faced beauty was wearing his boss's men's pajamas, tear tracks all over her face. Her gaze was icy. She saw him, kept walking, and slammed the door shut. The male lead comes with the following attributes: He transforms into a woman for N hours every month; deadpan face; filthy rich; silently sobs buckets while watching melodramas... To be continued. This is a ridiculous story that looks like a tale of a powerful tycoon forcing a romance on a famous actress, but in reality, the tycoon and the famous actress are the same person. (A story with a little adventure, a little fantasy, and a little secret-identity love-triangle chaos.) Before-you-read note: Side characters have both same-sex and opposite-sex couples. [A ridiculous power fantasy where I am both a cold-faced tycoon and a stunningly beautiful, icy beauty.] [Warning: Male and female characters each develop one-sided feelings for the male lead's female and male identities, respectively!] [Don't ask why there's a one-sided love-triangle showdown! Think about it: how could a stunning beauty and a handsome hunk like this not have people pursuing them in real life? The no-romance protagonist has no romantic storyline, but of course people will fall for someone that gorgeous.] [That's all, OVER!] Theme: Break the world's constraints, and the truth will eventually come to light. Life will become better.
