A Blaze Like the Sun

My next upcoming story, "Offering My Fellow Trainees the Best Things in the World," is BL with a male protagonist pursuing another man. Find it in my author profile. Please add it to your reading list!

This story will go VIP on July 8, with a 10,000-word update that day. Thank you all for your support!

I could have endured the darkness if I had never seen the sun.

Emily Dickinson

The young man's flames were bright and warm, like the sun she had not seen in so long.

You never know whether love at first sight will happen to you until it does.

The boy she fell for had flames as scorching as the sun.

He was one of the Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps, so he was probably pretty well-off. She could live comfortably after they married.

He was kind and liked taking care of people. That meant he would make a good father someday, too.

He had a big appetite, which was great. She wouldn't have to worry about cooking more than he could finish.

All in all, he was a perfect marriage prospect.

The only problem was that she had fallen for him before confessing, and the boy she liked was a demon hunter. If he found out she was a demon, he would probably ride in on a rainbow cloud to marry her... and take her life.
