The Demon King Was Proposed to by the Hero

The fact that heroes always manage to defeat exceptionally powerful demon kings, no matter how many obstacles they face, rubbed the new Demon King, Sylvia, the wrong way. So when she heard that the kingdom was assembling a hero's party to defeat her, she disguised herself, ran up to the party, and burst into sobs. "I'm so glad I met you, Hero! I'm a victim of that Demon King too!" Sylvia slandered herself at great length to the heroes, accusing herself of every evil imaginable, from murder and looting to not flushing after using the toilet and refusing to give up her seat for the elderly. In the end, she had only meant to get close to the hero and fish for information, but he took her hand instead. "Sylvia, we share the same mission: to defeat the Demon King and restore peace to the world. Our party still needs a mage. Join us!" the hero invited her earnestly. Sylvia answered in a heartbeat: "Sure, no problem!" And so began her quest to kill herself (not really)! Along the way, Sylvia's disguise was flawless. In the final battle, she even faked the Demon King's (her own) death, and the hero's party believed it completely. Just as Sylvia was secretly rejoicing and getting ready to strike back, the handsome hero suddenly dropped to one knee and proposed to her in front of her corpse (fake). Sylvia: ...
