[Detective Conan Police Academy Squad] Illusion

Like a dream, yet not a dream; like truth, yet not truth. The real can be unreal, and the unreal can be real. Which is real, and which is false? A cruel illusion, a warm reality. Perhaps the two are one and the same. How can we protect this precious happiness? We must change this cruel fate together. This is a story about them, told primarily from Matsuda Jinpei's point of view. It draws heavily on the original work, so please don't flame me. This is a story, and also the prologue to another story. I've made additions and revisions, so I hope you'll give it another read. Thank you. Content warnings: 1. There are many original elements. Don't read if that's not your thing. 2. This story is co-written with Yangmu. The sections written by Yangmu are labeled in the text, as are the jointly written sections. 3. I'll explain some of the original elements that may be confusing in a later chapter. 4. This story expresses only my personal views. Please don't flame me if you disagree. 5. I simply wanted to write about the bond between the five of them. 6. It's posted on Changpei and White Bear, and is complete on both platforms. Two updates a day. 7. There is a second installment, a long-form story that is still being updated. Theme: Beautiful friendships and ideals never grow old
