Ran Zhao has a face that attracts attention, but he's disliked people for as long as he can remember. He even chose veterinary medicine as his college major. A few years after graduation, he opened his own veterinary clinic and started selling pet supplies as well.
Business is good. Half the customers come for their beloved pets, and the other half come for Dr. Ran. But Dr. Ran is like a stone: handsome, but cold and hard as nails.
Then one day, a pretty young man shows up at the clinic. First, he paws Dr. Ran's pen cap into the trash. Then he pushes Dr. Ran's cup onto the floor. He even bites and tears open bags of cat food on the shelves, scattering it everywhere, before pointing at the cats and dogs in the inpatient ward. "So you really do have cats outside! Not just cats, you've got dogs too!"
Dr. Ran, who usually barely shows any emotion, looks anxious as he pulls the young man into his arms. "Why are you here? Did you come alone? Did any dogs chase you? Did you dress yourself?"
The pretty young man refuses to let him hold him and snaps, "You don't want me anymore!"
Dr. Ran strokes the young man's head. "How could I not? I love you most of all."

Ran Zhao has a chinchilla cat. Someone left it outside his clinic, and when he found it, the kitten's eyes weren't open yet and it was barely breathing. He saved the kitten from the brink of death and named him Jin Yuanbao. He raised him from a tiny little runt until he was over a year old, pampering him every day.
One day, when he gets home, Yuanbao is gone, and a naked, beautiful young man is sitting on his bed.
Ran Zhao: ...? Who are you? Where's my cat? Can you stand up? Can you put some clothes on? Can you stop rubbing against me?
Then he sees the pretty young man's ears, with their tuft of fur standing up, and his huge tail like a feather duster. He's exactly like Yuanbao.
Ran Zhao lays thick wool rugs throughout the house and rubs Yuanbao's red knees. "Does it hurt, baby? Daddy will blow on it."
The air conditioner is always set to the warmest temperature. Ran Zhao holds a blanket. "Are you cold, baby? Daddy will cover your tummy."
He even goes home during his lunch break. Ran Zhao ties on an apron. "You're hungry, baby? Daddy will make you something delicious right away."
The pretty young man sits proudly on a chair. "Yuanbao wants fried chicken today!"

Yuanbao has been feeling uncomfortable every day lately. He shakes his dad's hand. "Yuanbao feels bad. I want to go see the calico lady next door."
Ran Zhao's brow twitches. "No!"
Yuanbao frowns and points at his little Yuanbao. "Then Daddy help me."
Ran Zhao: ...How about you stop calling me Daddy from now on?
Yuanbao thinks it over. "Then what should I call you, Mommy?"
Ran Zhao gently coaxes him. "Call me hubby, and I'll help you."
Yuanbao asks, "What's a hubby?"
Later, Yuanbao finally learns what a hubby is.
With his eyes and nose red from crying, he burrows into Ran Zhao's arms. "Hubby's mean. Daddy's nice. Yuanbao wants Daddy, not hubby!"
The story is mainly told from the cat's perspective, though some parts are told from the cat dad's perspective for convenience.

Emmm, it's finished. I've been waiting for an update for a long time. I really felt that the author really ran out of ideas at the end. I was very confused about whether to write an ending. In the end, I felt that there should be an explanation, so I wrote the ending. I don't know what content Jinjiang locked, but I also see that the author has been revising it.
What should I say, I actually really like the setting of this article. Although some parts are not very reasonable, I really like Tongtong's calculating little Shou, and I also like Pei's doting little Gong. However, it cannot be denied that this article is unfinished. The author has many foreshadowing settings and sub-CPs that he has not written. For example, the foreshadowing that Tongtong laid when he traveled through time is useless. It ended very hastily, maybe because I really ran out of inspiration. I still hope that the author can make some changes and give a more perfect ending.
