Zhuo Yue is a rich second-generation who sets out on his own without relying on his family. After being eliminated in a rigged talent show, he starts pursuing an acting career.
For his very first movie, he gets to act opposite the just-returned Best Actor Ye. Then he discovers he has a problem: he can only get into character while gazing deeply into Best Actor Ye's eyes.
Through a series of misunderstandings, he ends up with the image of a scheming boy trying to cozy up to a powerful patron.
Zhuo Yue: Senior, I've seen all your work.
Ye Congxin: Don't act like we're close!
Zhuo Yue: Senior, please teach me how to act!
Best Actor Ye: Planning to get paparazzi to catch us and start a rumor?
Zhuo Yue: Senior, I walked into the wrong room!
Best Actor Ye sneered: You're already in my bed, and you're still playing hard to get?
Ever since he debuted, Ye Congxin has always kept himself above reproach. But when he returned to the industry, he ran into a young actor who went to great lengths to get into his bed.
Best Actor's inner monologue: The young actor is hopelessly devoted to him. Being the kind soul he is, he decides to give the other man a chance.
But the young actor turns him down. Not long afterward, he sees the news: #Popular Young Star Vacations by the Sea with Mysterious Tycoon#
Zhuo Yue is surfing by the sea with his older brother when Best Actor Ye suddenly kneels and proposes with a ring.
Zhuo Yue: Weren't you worried about the paparazzi catching us and starting rumors?
Best Actor Ye: I hired the paparazzi. Let them take all the pictures they want. Once they're done, we'll make it official!
