A parasol-tailed flying squirrel holds its bushy tail aloft as it wobbles down from the second floor with a plate of roast meat, then lands on his table with a plop. And the tavern's owner is a beautiful, elegant forest elf. From the moment they first meet, the elf shows not the slightest fear of him, and never holds back in praising him. The elf calls him a pretty little dragon, says he's the most beautiful creature in the world, compliments his cute horns and elegant scaled tail, and says his red eyes, deemed ill-omened by the dragons, are like precious rubies. No one could help but fall for them. Once they've gotten to know each other, the elf even rises on tiptoe and leans over from the other side of the counter to get a closer look at the scales on his cheek. Then, full of hopeful anticipation, he asks if he can reach out and touch Sesis's face. Sesis coldly and ruthlessly refuses the elf's request. But his heart...
