I Heard You're an Assassin [Full-Dive]

The first viral post in the history of the Aier Continent game: #Shocking! The top guild leader and the top assassin both quit the game and deleted their accounts?!# The post blew up the forums, leaving players dumbfounded... Was the game no fun, or was showing off no longer satisfying? They just deleted max-level accounts like that? The forums stayed abuzz for days before things finally quieted down. Until two new players made a name for themselves in a single battle. And there went the forums again. * In the video that set off the latest frenzy, a black-clad assassin took down an enemy in one move, while the priest behind him controlled the battlefield like a pro. The two were dark horses, fighting their way to the top of the rankings in the blink of an eye. Players had originally watched the video to dissect their technique, but the discussion soon took a turn... Player One: "Um, is it just me, or do they kind of make a good couple?" Player Two: "Finally, someone who gets it! I've been thinking that for ages!!" * Word spread, and more and more people started paying attention. Fans waved the couple's banner high, and the hype never died down. Some people weren't happy and started making snide remarks: "What's that guy so smug about? If the former guild leader hadn't deleted his account and quit, would he be getting all this attention?" "Heh, that girl can only play a healer. Look at the former top assassin. Now that's what I call skill." Then the two "newbies" had their secret identities exposed. Ying Huai: "Sorry, but I think I'm the guild leader you're talking about." Ran Qing: "I'm afraid this humble girl just happens to be that former top assassin." The game forum crashed on the spot. Bystanders: "... Ouch, that must sting!" Before long, a new comment was bumped to the top. Ying Huai (smiling): "And if you want to ship us, go ahead. We've got plenty of sweetness for you." Everyone: "!!!" #I'll be with you through the lows, and by your side when you reach the summit again. Former swordsman, now assassin, male lead x former assassin, now priest, female lead Hard-hitting DPS x strongest support [Important] The game itself isn't the focus. There are loads of made-up, illogical game mechanics, so don't take the setup too seriously. [Reading Guide] 1. One-on-one, happy ending, light and sweet. A practice run at writing romance with no logic. 2. Little to do with real life. Theme: I'll accompany you to the altar of glory
