The Birth of a Scene-Stealer

(Screen-recorded. Please don't steal the premise.) The gifted actor Xue Yi has a habit of getting so deeply into character that he can't pull himself out. One day, he hit his head... So in the middle of the night, he called his husband in tears, speaking in a babyish voice: "Daddy, I've been kidnapped. They won't give me anything to eat. I'm so cold and hungry. Come save me!" His husband, Xiao Yiran: ?! Xiao Yiran had finally come to terms with the fact that his lover's mind had gone haywire. The next morning, Xue Yi smacked a black card against his face and gave him a wicked smile. "A phoenix in trouble is worse off than a chicken, and a bankrupt CEO is worse off than a... 'quack.' Accept my sponsorship and tremble before me!" Xiao Yiran: "...That card is mine. I gave it to you..." On the third day, Xue Yi looked at him mournfully. "Yiran, my real name is Xue Erniu. I come from a poor mountain village. In the seventy years since the founding of the country, our village has produced only one college student: me. I'm the hope of the whole village. Please don't take my internship spot. Otherwise, I'll have to go home and farm." At last, Xiao Yiran figured out the pattern! Weren't these disposable identities of Xue Yi's all characters from movies he'd acted in before?! This is the story of a bottom who keeps living as the characters he's played, and his husband, who gently plays along to help him get back to normal. Theme: Warmth can heal anything
