Han Wuyu had once poured his heart and soul into pursuing someone for five years.
Li Huaimang was the revenge-seeking protagonist gong. The official shou had transmigrated into the book: the little assistant who had silently stayed by Li Huaimang's side.
And what about Han Wuyu?
He was cannon fodder in the first half of the novel: someone who loved Li Huaimang deeply and willingly let himself be used, but still couldn't win even the slightest affection. After learning the truth, he turned love into hate and tried to die with Li Huaimang, only to be accidentally killed by the official shou... A pathetic shou who threw himself at the gong.
Looking at this plot, Han Wuyu quietly put down the dagger.

On the third day after the Han Group collapsed,
the useless young master of the Han family ran off, leaving the new CEO a letter from his lawyer. Attached was the following:
The house, the car, and the company were all paid for entirely by me. Mr. Li, since we've broken up, please return everything. Okay?
And by the way, I found your precious little assistant too. Please fire him. Thanks.
The little assistant, who was always ready to pull a knife and take his place: "?"
Li Huaimang gave a faint sneer. "A little game of playing hard to get."
Whenever they argued and Han Wuyu stormed out, hadn't he always come crawling back in the end, kneeling before him like a dog to apologize?
But half a month later, Han Wuyu still hadn't returned.
Li Huaimang lifted his eyelids slightly, his eyes turning vicious. "Hah, he's got some nerve now."
No matter. He could deal with him when he came back.
But six months later, Han Wuyu was still nowhere to be found.
Li Huaimang finally started to go mad.
"Find him! Search every inch of the earth if you have to!"
Later...
-"Reporting to the CEO, we've found Han Wuyu!"
"Oh? Did he apologize?"
-"He did!"
"Then why hasn't he come back?"
-"Uh, reporting to the CEO, Han Wuyu says he apologized... for mistaking someone."
"?"
-"...He says he mistook you for the moonlight of his first love, and that's why he shamelessly clung to you for ten years. But now his moonlight has returned to the country, so could you, his substitute, please move aside?"
"Damn it, he wouldn't dare!"

One-line summary: I'm done being this pathetic shou! And I don't want this scumbag gong either! Hmph!
Warnings: Old-school melodrama, scum gong and pathetic shou, and a gong chasing his shou to the crematorium.
First the shou gets hurt, then the gong. P.S. Don't insult me, whether you're cursing the shou or the gong!
I'll leave out the character tags after all, lol. As always, this is a dumb story.
A writing exercise, shou's POV! Reverse transmigration from a book! The gong and shou are natives of the world; the little assistant transmigrated into a book.
Cover by my talented friend: Tuhua Douya!
