[Western Crossover] In the Name of the Hero

Mona Stark chose to bring her father back to life. She knew it would be difficult, almost impossible, but she was still going to try. She could accept failure. She just wanted to see her father one more time, even if only once. Then she would hug him and tell him how much she had missed him. "I will always love you, Dad." As she expected, Mona's journey to bring him back was anything but smooth. She ended up in a world both strange and familiar. It had entirely unfamiliar cities and many superheroes she had never heard of: Superman, Batman, the X-Men, and more. Of course, there was also a superhero she knew: Iron Man. But this Iron Man wasn't the one she knew, and this man wasn't her father. So she felt no attachment to him. A dangerous red beam shot toward her, too fast for Mona to dodge. She thought this was where her life would end. But it didn't. Because a figure stepped in front of her. "Hello, my little princess." The figure spoke with a familiar smile. "I love you, too." "Ever since you came into this world, I've been by your side." Heroes are heroes because they hold fast to the justice in their hearts. No matter how dark the world becomes, they continue to persevere and do what matters: they give themselves without hesitation, with open hearts. * Notes: 1. A silly, healing, sweet little story. 2.
