When I First Met You in Early Summer

"Xia Shichu, hello. I'm Xia Shichu. By chance, our paths crossed and time and space shifted. We shouldn't have met, but it must be fun to see yourself in a parallel world, right?"

"Xia Shichu, happy birthday. Don't be afraid. You're not always alone."

"Xia Shichu, I have a feeling we'll meet again."

Early summer has slipped away, with only its last moments left. Midsummer is coming.

She still sits on the tree branch every day, waiting for the school gates to open and for the morning sun to rise completely.

She waits for next early summer, when the paulownia flowers bloom and the boy returns.

"I've been waiting over a month for it to bloom. You came today, and now it's bloomed."
