I Seem to Be the Person from the Legend

Xu Ling had no idea that the scrap paper he used to jot down a draft would be revered as an unparalleled talisman.

He also had no idea that the knife his parents used to chop vegetables had once purged a million evil spirits.

He firmly believed that science was the only path to progress, so every evil spirit he saw was just a hallucination.

Since idealism couldn't be right, those evil spirits couldn't hurt him.

Then one day, he discovered that a celestial master, apparently so powerful that no one in heaven or earth could match him, worshipped the bottle of water Xu Ling had drunk from as heavenly nectar. Every night, the man would hide it under his covers and rub it, then... then take it out and kiss it a couple of times.

Celestial Master: An immortal's dew grants longevity. One drop of heavenly nectar dissolves a hundred grievances.

Xu Ling: (his expression slowly turning to shock) ...Pervert.

A reserved, secretly passionate powerhouse top x a laid-back powerhouse bottom. A lighthearted, sweet, satisfying story with an outrageously powerful golden finger. The world is set in the future.

Theme: Science is my faith.
