Coming soon: After Inheriting a Ferocious Merman, I Set Out to Save the World!

Blurb:

Serious version:

The sole survivor of a trip three years ago was imprisoned on suspicion of murder. All the answers are still hidden in that snowy mountain. Three years later, a young police officer receives a confidential letter ordering him to investigate the case from three years ago. What exactly happened in the mountains...?

Silly version:

A human falls from the sky and is raised by a monster. Every day, the monster strokes the human who belongs to him. So soft, so fair...

I want to go outside and see if it's... as beautiful as you said.

Content warning: My imagination has gotten out of hand again. Sorry! Don't take it too seriously.

The top is bad at flirting and extremely possessive.

The cover... that's the protagonist! I starved myself to pay for it, only for my editor to tell me the title had to change. (Sobs dramatically.)

Song Cizhi is socially anxious.

By chance, he inherits a villa.

There's a swimming pool in the villa. And there's a big fish in the pool.

Song Cizhi is so hungry his eyes are glowing red. He smacks his lips. "That's one fat fish."

"Looks so plump. It'd be delicious braised!"

The merman beneath the water: "..."

Later...

The merman in the pool yawns.

Song Cizhi hurriedly hugs his pillow and lies down, whispering, "Come on, time to sleep."

The merman curls his lips, watching the human above the water as a triumphant look flickers in his eyes.

Later still, mating season finally arrives for the merman.

The merman is done playing house, so he simply grabs Song Cizhi and dives underwater with him.

Song Cizhi points at the merman, stammering, "D-don't come any closer!"

The merman's eyes redden at the corners. He takes Song Cizhi's arm, his lips trembling as he gazes at him in silence.

Song Cizhi hugs himself and refuses. "...I'm a normal human!"
