The Zhao family lives in Su'an City, and they have a daughter known as Fifth Master Zhao. She doesn't draw on her brows or wear makeup, and a red beauty mark sits between her brows. An air of refinement seems to emanate from her very bones.

A young woman in a little qipao arrives at Su'an City's biggest dance hall, thinking all day about how to climb into a wealthy patron's bed.

Fifth Master Zhao visits the dance hall twice in all. The first time, someone gives her a hard time. The second time, someone brushes against her trouser leg. The woman is bold, flirting with her through her eyes, her intentions plain to see.

So Fifth Master Zhao takes her home and bites open the buttons of her qipao. "I hear you want to climb into a wealthy patron's bed?"

The girl in the qipao is frightened. "I don't want to anymore! I don't want to!"

Everyone knows the girl in the qipao, but no one knows Qin Guyao.

1. The lead is not disguised as a man. Everyone knows she's a woman!

2. She has short hair because of the setting. For reference, it's as short as my favorite actress's hair (Jiao Junyan).

3. She's lived with men for a long time, so she's a little rough around the edges, but also attentive.
