Gu Xiao is a Chinese zombie, but he's been sent to Japan.
He thought he was going as an ambassador of cultural exchange between the two countries, but instead he was detained and put to work.
Even more unexpectedly, he was going to be married off. The ghost was actually quite nice, but as a zombie with principles, he couldn't possibly just give in.
As luck would have it, the underworld was short-staffed, and Gu Xiao could travel through time to a limited extent. So, with no other choice (and great delight), he took on the important task of finding prison guards (and escaping his wedding).
A story that also brings couples together.
