After I Revived My Master, He Turned Over a New Leaf

Blurb 1

Lu Ling was alive back when the world had no idea what immortal arts were, and he had already attained enlightenment, becoming history's first half-human, half-immortal master. Later, he picked up a child and took him in as his disciple, then defected to the demon cult and suffered a cultivation deviation. In the end, his young and obedient disciple stabbed him and threw him into a volcano, reducing him to ashes.

After he came back to life, a full ten years had passed and the times had changed. Immortal sects now filled the world, and everyone knew magic. Lu Ling thought that, as the first master, it only made sense for him to take over the world. He gathered his energy, performed his arts, inhaled and exhaled, and let out a furious roar. Before he could even make a move, his filial and obedient disciple slapped him to the ground.

Lu Ling held his burning cheek and looked down at his own small frame in confusion.

This... Isn't this what I looked like when I was just twenty? Nobody told me that coming back to life would make me young again!

Blurb 2

From the moment he was born until the day he died, his master longed for freedom. He couldn't find happiness himself and couldn't stand to see anyone else happy either. Ji Tang, his obedient disciple, was constantly caught in the crossfire and cruelly abused, until he hated his master to the core. In the end, he decided that killing him with one stab would be too good for him, so he spent ten years bringing him back to life, intending to make him suffer in return.

But as Ji Tang tormented him, he suddenly realized that his master, now stripped of his immortal arts, seemed to be turning over a new leaf (in truth, he was just scared). He was both courteous and well-mannered and heartbreakingly charming, and no matter what Ji Tang did, he forgave him unconditionally.

This isn't normal. This is way too strange. If everyone finds out he's become a good person, how is Ji Tang supposed to explain it to the countless enemies of his master gathering outside the door?
