A head surfaced from the water, and the shocking Wei River Body-Disposal Case began.

Si Xiachuan, the owner of an escape room completely unrelated to the case,

found a head in the hallway that looked exactly like the “victim.”

One commenter said the puzzles were too difficult, so Si Xiachuan changed them to riddles that even elementary school students could easily solve.

Another said the NPCs weren’t lively enough, so Si Xiachuan personally joined in as part of the entertainment, chasing players from beginning to end.

Another asked if he could replace the creepy severed-head prop. Si Xiachuan replied,

“That’s not a prop. It’s real.”

Ever since Duan Xinghe’s head asked him to find the “victim’s” body, Si Xiachuan had felt himself getting closer and closer to insanity.

He could even calmly point at a disembodied character in a horror movie and tease Duan Xinghe: “Look, one of your kind.”

Meanwhile, Duan Xinghe would scream like a girl in fright. “Are you even human?!”

But after Si Xiachuan was inexplicably drawn into the case, he discovered a secret about Duan Xinghe’s head.

It seemed the “victim” wasn’t dead...

1. Happy ending, one-on-one romance. The main plot is a mystery, with a side plot about the bottom’s everyday life running a business. Mostly sweet, occasionally goofy.
