A Shady Tour Guide Forced Me Onto His Bus

"Hey, handsome, joining the tour group or not? If you don't, I'll kill you."

With a little knife pressed against his neck, Chu Cheng could only sign up for a three-day tour of ancient towns, with tears in his eyes. Who could have guessed the tour guide would have a heart black as coal?

He took Chu Cheng up snowy mountains, down into jungles, and all over the place, and still made him pay. What a heartless tour guide.

"What exactly are you looking for?"

"The elixir of immortality."

"Does something like that really exist?"

"It does. I was poor back then, and I accidentally swallowed some while picking up sheep droppings." Gu Rong spoke heavily. "Time abandoned me. No one can... Hey, wait up."

Chu Cheng turned and glared at him. "If you don't catch up, I'll abandon you too."

Two male leads, no romance. A tomb-raiding-style novel. (I'm not sure if it really counts as tomb raiding. Repeat after me: obey the law and protect cultural relics. It's just adventures in tombs, and the protagonist even reports tomb raiders.)

It draws on the customs of some ethnic minorities, feng shui, and archaeology, but don't expect too much accuracy. The author is a dilettante too.
