After the Supporting Female Character Awakens the Heroine System

A comedy. I have an idea brewing, and I'll write it if there's demand. If nobody reads it, I won't. For now, here's a prologue.

--

I'm a hardworking little maid. My biggest dream is to save up twenty taels for retirement, then go home and farm.

One day, I suddenly awakened the Protagonist System.

I was so excited. Was it finally my turn to become a princess consort, an empress, or an Immortal Venerable?

The System said, "No. The Protagonist System you've awakened can only identify the female protagonists around you."

Xiaocui, who sleeps in the bunk above mine, is Female Protagonist A in a palace-intrigue story.

The prince's younger sister is Female Protagonist B in a story about a powerful empress.

The strange woman fighting Xiaocui is Female Protagonist C in a cultivation story.

And me? I've always just been a supporting character.

I clung to Female Protagonist A, only to die taking a blade for her.

Reborn, I clung to Female Protagonist B, only to die because she feared me.

Reborn again, I clung to Female Protagonist C, only for her to say I was a tribulation in her life.

Isn't this just setting me up?

On my fourth rebirth, I finally got to be the protagonist, but something seemed a little off.

Female Protagonist A gazed at me through tearful eyes and said, "I finally get to see you alive. In this life, I'll protect you."

Female Protagonist B looked at me with a complicated expression and said, "After living this life again, I see that you were the one who truly understood me."

The female protagonist took my hand tenderly and said, "It doesn't matter if I don't ascend in this life."

Everyone! I just wanted to be the protagonist for once! Not their protagonist!

Girls' Love, with three storylines for A, B, and C. I haven't figured out how to write them yet. I just had an idea and jotted it down. I'll decide whether to start the novel based on the responses and favorites. For now, here's a short story. If I write the full version, it'll probably also be in first person, with the immersion of a romance game. The full story will be a new work and won't continue this one.

Theme: Live well, live well
