[SasuNaru] The Lover in My Palm

Mind-Reading Assistant x Observer Ming

Naruto took a job on a remote island as an observer because it came with health insurance and a housing fund. His main task was to keep a record of a man named Uchiha Sasuke, whether they were chatting or doing something else.

After spending more time together, Naruto realized the man seemed able to see right through him, so he started muttering to himself in his head.

After listening to Naruto's endless inner muttering, the man's ears gradually turned bright red. At last, he stood up and placed his hand against the glass between them.

"I heard that."

"Heard what?" Naruto asked with a playful smile, placing his own hand where the man's rested and slowly lining them up.

Through the glass, the two seemed able to feel each other's heartbeat. Blue eyes gazed quietly into black ones, and for a moment, neither of them said a word...

A few notes before reading:

1. It's been so long that I can't remember what I wanted to write, but I'm going to finish this story.

2. I'll change a few things in the early part of the story, but not too much. The main goal is to flesh out Sasuke and Naruto's characterizations.

3. I'm changing the blurb too, hahaha. I feel like it doesn't suit Sasuke and Naruto's personalities.
