Always on the Road to Saving My Master [Quick Transmigration]

Xi Shu's master, Kun Yuan, was a cultivator who had lived for an unknown number of years. In an era when the cultivation world had seen fewer and fewer geniuses over the past ten thousand years, he had become a legendary figure. His master had lived so long that all the old monsters who knew about his past had died before him. As a result, very few people knew anything about his history. Still, the various sects all passed down the same ancestral warning: never provoke Kun Yuan lightly. Behind his back, people called him a demon. Back when geniuses in cultivation were as common as clouds, he had roamed the world and killed many sects' pillars, contributing to the cultivation world's gradual decline.

Yet this legendary old monster, Kun Yuan, died during his tribulation when Xi Shu was at the Golden Core stage. Fortunately, his master was exceptionally talented and had foreseen that he would face a violent tribulation. And violent it was: the lightning struck dead countless living beings across the mortal world...

The tribulation scattered Kun Yuan's three souls and seven spirits across different worlds, but he had left himself a chance of survival. He instructed Xi Shu to open his brocade pouch if anything happened to him. Inside was a way for him to be reborn.

The pouch explained that Kun Yuan had long foreseen this calamity. He had left Xi Shu a Merit Cauldron and instructed him to follow its guidance to different worlds and gather his three souls and six spirits. In each world, Xi Shu would find someone who had been born carrying one of Kun Yuan's three souls and six spirits. He was to take that person with him to accumulate merit, do good deeds, and repay the karmic debts owed. Once enough merit had been accumulated, that wisp of soul would automatically return to the Merit Cauldron. When the cauldron held all three souls and six spirits, Kun Yuan could be reborn.

Following the Merit Cauldron through different worlds to gather his master's soul fragments, Xi Shu began his journey in other worlds.
