The Insect Race Heeds My Command [System]

In the year 53427 of the Cosmic Calendar, Su Lan hatches under the gaze of the high-ranking Zerg, becoming their queen.

Su Lan: ( ?﹃? ) These guys all have perfect proportions and ridiculously good looks!

Raphael: Your Majesty, you have finally awakened.

Cecil: Just tell me what you want. I’ll do anything.

Karlo: Please, make full use of us.

Silan: What would you like to eat? I wasn’t sure what Your Majesty likes, so I prepared all kinds of pastries. Is there anything you’re fond of?

Lester: Your Majesty, every Zerg in the universe will obey your command.

Su Lan felt her heart beating a little fast.

Su Lan: (⊙o⊙)… Have they all gotten so… good at this? But what’s that chaotic aura faintly emanating from their bodies?

An ordinary human from the 21st century, Su Lan has only one task on her first day as queen: pick up her eggshell and munch away.

They say she is the Zerg King.

They say the Zerg are the most powerful species, and only lost to the other races because they no longer had their king.

The king’s duty is to lead them and regulate the Zerg’s chaotic mental energy. In return, they will cut a path through every obstacle for her.

Regulate mental energy?

Su Lan took a doubtful bite of her eggshell.

Su Lan: ?

Staring at the progress bar that had suddenly appeared before her, Su Lan took another bite of the eggshell.

[Information loaded: 2%.]

Su Lan crunched away, taking two bites.

[Information loaded... 3%, 4%.]

Su Lan devoured a huge chunk of eggshell in one go.

Well, damn.

Looking at the eggshell that remained, taller than a person, Su Lan resolved to finish it in three days. No, five.

A week later, Su Lan held the eggshell in her mouth and gave it a casual tap.

The filth and chaos lodged in the mental seas of several Zerg instantly turned pure and clear.

Su Lan looked at the brightened points of light in the mental network. So this is purification?

It does look much cleaner.

Pretty easy, actually.

Reader note: 1VN, lots of author-invented worldbuilding.

The queen is not responsible for having children. The bugs will handle that.
