[Harry Potter] Heidi’s Secret

Heidi: Professor, can you solve this mathematical equation, r=a(1-sinθ)?

Snape: It seems Miss White believes the person standing before her is her mathematics professor, rather than her Potions Professor.

Heidi quickly sketches a heart on the parchment. Professor, it's a cardioid! Its smooth curve traces the shape of a lover's heart, then returns to its starting point. A simple formula, a complete cycle, an eternal whisper of love!

Snape: So if I answer Miss White's question, that would mean I'm confessing my love to you?

Heidi is immediately found out and tries to run, but a cold hand catches her by the collar.

Snape sneers: Because of you, I have to deduct ten points from my house, on the grounds of... flirting with a professor.

Heidi has a secret.

She likes her head of house, her Potions Professor.

She planned to take the secret to her grave. Who knew there would be two people sharing her future grave?

One is her, and the other is her professor.

Heidi: I underestimated things.

[Given the professor's particular nature, this should be a sweet story with a touch of angst.]
