When Qin Shi Huang Became Emperor Xian of Han

In the sixth year of Zhongping, the eunuchs rebelled. Dong Zhuo seized the opportunity to lead a great army into the capital. To seize control of the court, he deposed the young emperor and installed nine-year-old Liu Xie as the new emperor. On the first day of the ninth month, the new emperor ascended the throne. But just as the grand ceremony concluded, dark clouds instantly gathered overhead. Thunder rumbled, and rain poured down. The officials all took it as a bad omen, and for a time, voices opposing the new emperor rang out without end. Who could have guessed that after ascending the throne, the new emperor would first smash the tomb of Qin Er Shi in Qujiang, then flog Zhao Gao's corpse, declaring to all under heaven that he would execute every eunuch who stirred up rebellion and would never become a ruler who brought about his country's ruin? At once, the people of the Han dynasty were filled with hope again. In truth, Ying Zheng had just been reborn. When he learned that the Great Qin had actually been brought to ruin by Hu Hai and Zhao Gao after only two generations, he was so furious he nearly exploded. He immediately ordered the two of them dragged out and flogged. Only then did he have the leisure to take a look at this strange new dynasty. The Great Han? He had heard they were the ones who destroyed the Great Qin. The First Emperor fell into deep thought. “Ding! ‘Live Stream: Speedrunning the Late Eastern Han,’ which you follow, is now live. Come watch! Please mind your language in the comments~” “Late Eastern Han? Isn't that the Three Kingdoms era? And a speedrun? Which officer of mine has such a big mouth!” “Uh, could the streamer be this little kid cosplaying Emperor Xian of Han? He's only nine and already this chuuni?” “Wait a second, wasn't this supposed to be a speedrun of the late Eastern Han? Why is he flogging Hu Hai and Zhao Gao's corpses? Did this happen in history?” “Who cares if it did? Post more, I love it!” P.S. Inspired by official history, but the live stream will also discuss events from Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
