[Free story, abandoned.]
On his first day in Yokohama, Kyouzuru, an utterly ordinary Tokyoite, suddenly awakens an ability: "Opera House." As it happens, this ability is perfect for drama queens, and its wielder is one too.
Thrilled to finally let loose, Kyouzuru quickly puts on all sorts of personas.
When he's a frail, pitiful little amber spirit:
Kyouzuru: "Ah, I'm coughing up blood / I'm shattered / I'm melting :D"
The sword warriors, scared into cardiac arrest: "..."
When he's a pampered, haughty cat demon:
Kyouzuru, whose ability has been exposed and who is being fought over by various factions: "Whoever takes the best care of me gets to be my human."
The Port Mafia boss falls for him and takes the cat home to pamper him. After working himself to the bone, he raises his feline master until its coat shines. But after just one day away from home, the cat runs off with a human from the Armed Detective Agency.
The Port Mafia boss, who isn't even left a note and only learns from a subordinate that his feline master has run away: "..."
There's no way Kyouzuru will just perform alone. He also gives his friends tearjerking, over-the-top melodrama scripts to act out.
Yokohama Entertainment News, front-page headline: The "Double Black" duo reunites! A daytime performance of Romeo and Juliet: true love or an act?
A shocking thread sets the forum ablaze: Mikazuki, the belle of the dark honmaru, is caught in a three-way love triangle!
The handsome poster boy actually says: "Please stop saying things like one of you is my boyfriend. Why can't you all get along? Why do I have to choose between you?"
"I really can't live without any of you!"
Kyouzuru the prankster: humbly taking credit for the chaos, victory sign.
Notes:
1. No romance pairing. The male lead is irresistible. I've done my research, but some OOC is unavoidable.
2. There are no couples in this story. The scripts stirring up trouble are fake, and the people involved have no romantic feelings for each other.
3. The cover depicts the protagonist, not Tsurumaru. The dumpling he's holding is a Mikazuki collectible, not a head.
4. Please don't bash my son or the adorable sword warriors. Kisses!
5. Updates daily between 9:00 and 11:00 p.m.
Theme: Beneath an excessive urge to perform is a soul longing to be cherished, and in the end, it gets its wish.
