After My Devoted Hound from a Past Life Found Me

Lu Qingze had been dreaming since he was little.

For more than a decade, the dreams came in fragments, until at last they were complete.

He dreamed that long, long ago, there was a kingdom called Heng, and Heng had a crown prince. One day, an enemy kingdom suddenly invaded and killed the emperor. The crown prince was captured and taken back to the enemy camp as a hostage, where he was subjected to endless torment.

As the crown prince lay on the brink of death, a general returned from the Northern Territory. He charged into the enemy camp alone and managed to rescue the prince.

The general took him into the mountains, bandaged his wounds, gathered herbs, and cooked him porridge. He wanted to live in seclusion with the crown prince and leave the world behind, so that at least they could live out their lives in peace.

But the enemy kingdom coveted the great general's strength and captured the crown prince again. They held him atop the city wall with a knife to his throat, using him to force the general to serve their kingdom.

They promised that if the general helped them conquer his homeland, they would return the crown prince to him.

That was where the dream ended. Lu Qingze never dreamed what happened next.

Later, because he'd been sickly and unlucky since childhood, a monk at a temple said he was doomed to be devoured by ghosts. Lu Qingze's mother had no choice but to get him a Buddhist amulet and tell him never to take it off, no matter what happened.

But one rainy night, as Lu Qingze walked along the road, the amulet shattered.

Then every streetlight shattered with a series of cracks. In the darkness, a blood-covered, terrifying ghost appeared, surrounded by ghostly flames.

Just as Lu Qingze was about to black out and faint, the ghost spoke:

"Your Highness, the Crown Prince."

"I've been looking for you for so long."

Blurb for Hell Wants to Talk to Me (Infinite Flow):

Chi Yi always had a strange dream. In it, he had a mute childhood friend.

They got along well, but later, the mute was murdered right in front of him and turned into a vengeful ghost on the spot. Chi Yi screamed in terror in his dream.

His family hurriedly found someone to examine him. A fortune-teller did some calculations and said the mute was his fated ghostly romance, and was still waiting for him.

Chi Yi thought the old man was talking nonsense and didn't believe him.

As an adult, Chi Yi was caught up in a traffic accident and unexpectedly dragged into a massive live-action hell game. Win and live, lose and die. Vengeful ghosts hungry for lives and deadly traps lurked everywhere.

The rules were terrifying and cruel. At night, hunting night watchmen even appeared, randomly taking the lives of participants.

According to the rules, every night watchman was more terrifying than the last.

That very night, Chi Yi, notorious for having the worst luck, was chosen and plunged into a thrilling chase with a night watchman.

The night watchman chased him at a full sprint. In the end, Chi Yi couldn't run anymore and collapsed on the spot, giving up. "Just kill me already!!"

But suddenly, everything went quiet behind him.

Chi Yi turned around and saw the night watchman pull out a piece of paper from somewhere and start writing.

When he finished, the night watchman held the paper up for him to read:

[I've been waiting for you. Take me with you.]
