Bai Xuan had a wife, but she died before she ever became his wife, her three souls and seven spirits shattered to pieces.

To raise his wife all over again, Bai Xuan waited ten years, hoping she would be reborn as a little mermaid so he could raise her just like before.

But disaster struck like a tornado. He failed to stop the person who destroyed the formation, and the little mermaid became a grown mermaid who remembered only the evenings.

Every time the sun sets, the big fish loses that day's memories.

At first,

Xuan would tell the temperamental big fish, "You're my wife."

Later, when he saw the big fish gradually improve and his soul stabilize, he decided to wait until he was better before pursuing him.

Bai Xuan quietly changed his tune: "You're my best friend."

2.

Hong Li was born with a divine soul but no godhood, so he descended to the mortal world to undergo trials and seek the godhood that belonged to him.

One day, his divine soul shattered, and his memory became rather unreliable.

But he always remembered one person. He didn't know his name or where he came from. He only knew that person was his Dao companion.

That person always called him his wife, too.

But when he realized his memories were gradually stabilizing, his Dao companion had changed his tune and said they were best friends, not Dao companions!

Some little demon is trying to seduce his Dao companion!

Hong Li secretly investigates the little demon, while openly clinging to his Dao companion and whining, "Waaah, don't break up with me."
