I Went Viral After Linking Up with a Haunted Escape Room App

After being dropped by his agency, minor celebrity Qi Yan became bound to a "Real-Life Horror Escape Room App."

At the start of his business, he had no employees, so he had to work the front desk and host the sessions himself.

His NPC employees included a thousand-year-old zombie, a red-clad ghost, a painted-skin woman, and more...

One day, players discovered that this soon-to-be-bankrupt escape room was surprisingly terrifying.

The ghosts could pass through walls, NPCs could drop dead on the spot, and the escape room themes were updated at breakneck speed!

From then on, escape room fans all over the city had a new place to visit. Even famous actors came to check it out, making it a bona fide online hotspot.

Players shrieked at the escape room's horror themes. Then Qi Yan accidentally appeared without his makeup, and his fans went wild.

"Waaah, isn't that our oppa?"

"Oppa is gorgeous!"

His old agency asked him to come back. Qi Yan replied, "Thanks, but no thanks. I don't like acting."

An ancient Taotie passing by said, "Come on, it's your turn."

Qi Yan: ...

Why do I still have to work when I'm the boss?!

·

Before he knew it, Qi Yan's escape room had become the industry standard, and he was often invited to events to share his experience.

Every time he went out, an ancient Taotie came along. The other employees were extremely unhappy.

Employees: "Why does he get to go out with you every time, while we have to stay home?"

Jinyun: "I'm his husband. Who are you?"

Getting ahead through connections really is the best!
