You will see my scars and know that I was wounded, and that I healed." --Stray Birds - Gu Zi had been having a run of bad luck. Just after coming out to her girlfriend, she was cheated on, and her own father kept targeting her at work. Irritated and stifled, she found a chance to get away and clear her head. At a late-night party, neon lights flashed as a woman pulled her into the pool. Pressing close to her cheek, the woman rested a hand on the back of her neck and asked suggestively, "...Want to go back to my room?" A few days later, Gu Zi returned to China and ran into Jiang Xinrao in the company lobby. The low, smiling voice of the stranger from that night sounded so much like the voice of the company's most famous international superstar. * Jiang Xinrao became famous at a young age. At twenty-eight, she was being criticized by media outlets of all sizes for having run out of ideas and no longer making good work. At a boring party, she was looking for someone who shared her interests. She pinned Gu Zi against her and kissed her. She never imagined she would meet her muse in a place like this. * Romantic, passionate singer * warm, reserved CEO * The playlist for A Meeting Like You can be found on NetEase Cloud Music. Let's avoid the situation where people knowingly eat food they don't like and then yell at the cook. The cook is making food because they like it and want to share it with others who enjoy the same meal, not to get yelled at by diners with different tastes. Let's give each other space, show mutual respect, build a harmonious online reading environment, and spend our time on more meaningful things. Miss Huo Never Surrenders Down-on-her-luck entrepreneur * flamboyant reporter; a story of an attempted sugar-daddy arrangement that keeps blowing up in the headlines Three years ago, a report by Jian Yuan sent Huo Zhinian to court. Her business empire, worth six billion dollars, came crashing down. From the start of the investigation to the liquidation of her company, this Chinese entrepreneur, the youngest and most promising in Silicon Valley's history, consistently refused to give Jian Yuan an interview. Three years later, Huo Zhinian and Jian Yuan ran into each other at a corner cafe. "You don't have anywhere else to go anyway. How about I take care of you?" She was only joking, but the aloof, slender former billionaire tilted her head and replied earnestly, "Sure." Theme: Growth, inner conflict, struggling against oneself, and a just ending.
