The Big Cat Chieftain's Beloved

My new novel, Love from a God, is now underway: a violent deity x a gentle, easygoing girl. Welcome to my author’s column! =3= Xia Yu was a fish spirit who made her way in the human world with her exceptional cooking skills. She had a little secret no one knew. She liked... cats. Of course, liking your natural enemy means you’re liable to get bitten. TAT After her Nth failed attempt to lure a cat, Xia Yu was once again on her way to get a rabies shot. She rubbed a catnip plant, feeling a little gloomy. Maybe I’m more attractive than catnip... * Veyerfa was a cold and violent commander-in-chief. Everyone feared her. They said she was a beast who tore apart planets on a whim, and anyone who offended her would be sent to the barren Planet Twelve Prison. In an age when the beastfolk were fanatically worshipping pure-blooded nobles, Veyerfa alone had seized the throne through the terrifying, absolute violence that made everyone covet her power. No one knew where she came from or what her bloodline was. She seemed born to stand above everyone else, looking down on the world with her sovereign’s golden eyes. Any traitor would be killed without mercy! * One day, Xia Yu transmigrated. She came across a scruffy little kitten curled up beneath some rubble, its claws broken, its body covered in blood. Only its sharp golden eyes still gleamed coldly. Xia Yu: “...” Holy crap, a gorgeous cat from the stars!! Veyerfa: “...” Veyerfa suppressed the violence raging in her blood. The Zerg had invaded and her strength was spent. The beastfolk she had protected had cast her aside because she was a mixed-breed cat. Attacked from both sides, how had she ever been in such a wretched state?! This person... wanted to kick her while she was down, too? Bloodline above all? Then she would kill every last one of them! “Excuse me, can I hold you?” Veyerfa, who was being petted without even getting a chance to answer: “???” “Why are you so beautiful! You’re the prettiest cat I’ve ever seen! I have catnip. Want to play with it? You’re not even scratching me. You’re so well-behaved! Can I kiss you, ” Veyerfa, suddenly kissed by force: “…???” * Later, everyone knew that the cold and ruthless Commander-in-Chief Veyerfa had a little lover who could climb all over her and get away with anything. “Commander, can I bite your cute little ears?” “No.” “If you won’t let me play with them, I’ll go pet other cats.” “...Don’t you dare.” “Then grow your ears for me to play with!” The assistant, who happened to see the little lover sitting on the cat-eared commander’s shoulders, acting spoiled and tugging her ears: “...” I’m leaving. * Friend’s novel: Her Little Dimple Is So Sweet by Xiao Ye Shi Feng Zi One-line summary: Flirty secretary x enchanting, mature CEO It’s fantastic.
