I Regretted Agreeing to Break Up

Blurb:

Ran Nian and Mu Jianian met again at a secluded restaurant.

It was a beautiful, sunny day, perfect for a blind date. Ran Nian gazed at the rose garden outside the restaurant, lost in thought.

Only when a tall, straight figure in black appeared among the clustered roses did Ran Nian come to her senses. The image of the young man overlapped with the roses, along with the flutter of her heart from nine years ago.

Mu Jianian walked in, elegant and composed. When he saw her, he smiled easily and naturally. "Long time no see."

She was here for a blind date, not to get back together.

"We're not right for each other," Ran Nian began, but Mu Jianian had already gone over to sit at the next table.

Later, as Ran Nian walked through the crowd, Mu Jianian caught the corner of her skirt. As she turned to look back, the sound of the wind seemed exceptionally clear.

"Ran Nian, I regret agreeing to break up."
