The divine realm was in turmoil. The former dynasty's crown prince led an army in an attack on the divine realm, but he and his beloved died together. The Four Sacred Lands were damaged and fell under the control of villains. Though their young lord has now returned, they remain in ruins. The former ruler of the celestial realm became a lackey to evildoers and undermined its peace. His daughter executed him and took the throne, yet chaos still reigns.
In the 26th life, the new Heavenly Emperor, Chi Yi, ordered reforms: restore the time spans each race was meant to follow, with 100 years in the human realm counting as one generation and 1,000 years for each of the other races.
The rulers of the various races changed their ways and kept to themselves, but who could have guessed that the villains from the previous life would stir up trouble at Hundred Tomb Mountain...
