Louis discovers that there's something strange about the hotel he's staying in.
The wallpaper patterned with wasps stings. Voices sing in the drains. Whenever he takes a bath, he feels as if someone is groping him.
The exit has disappeared.
The hotel owner says he can leave only after staying for ninety-nine nights.
In the first world, Louis opens his eyes to find himself sitting at a dining table. The man across from him is tall and handsome, and introduces himself as Louis's psychiatrist, Hannibal.
In the second world, the scenery is beautiful. The famous Mr. Darcy is on horseback, pointing a gun at Louis and blowing away a zombie sneaking up behind him.
In the third world, Louis turns into a plastic doll. This time, his mission is to kill the scumbag who deceived him.
A jaunty guitar tune begins, and a distant song reaches Louis's ears.
Welcome to the Hotel California, such a lovely place.
