The Love in My Heart

1.

Among Ye City's high society, Ji Suyao has the most mysterious background.

"Elegant and aloof, but incredibly handsome" is how the society girls unanimously describe him.

Those who've seen him in person have privately added another phrase: "deadly allure."

This man has an irresistible attraction for women.

As a rising star in the business world, Ji Suyao's astonishing wealth has kept him among the world's top ten richest people year after year, leaving people speechless.

.

Countless people are curious about his background, but not a single media outlet has managed to uncover even one private detail about his family.

Ji Suyao is so cold and aloof that even if a woman falls in front of him, he can't be bothered to help her up. He doesn't even raise an eyebrow.

Many have witnessed his indifference, but no one expected to see him bend down one day to personally put a shoe on a woman's foot.

2.

After becoming Ji Suyao's wife, Yi Ye initially thought it was great, but before long, all she wanted was a divorce.

There are plenty of rumors about Ji Suyao.

They say he's cold and abstinent. Yi Ye, thoroughly worn out after a night with him, says: "Ha. To hell with cold and abstinent."

.

They also say Ji Suyao changes women like clothes. But Yi Ye waits and waits, and Ji Suyao just refuses to divorce her.

Eventually, Ji Suyao signs the divorce papers himself.

The heartless bastard doesn't give Yi Ye a single penny, and right around then, her family's small business finally goes bankrupt despite all her hard work.

.

In an instant, Yi Ye becomes everyone's laughingstock and favorite gossip. With her "Mrs. Ji" aura gone, people spot her working as a server at a little bar, tutoring, cleaning houses, and even applying screen protectors to phones on the street.

.

When the news spreads through high society, a number of society girls at a charity gala see the diamond-tier, mysterious big shot Ji Suyao, rumored to have already found a new love, gripping Yi Ye by the waist and kissing her on a bathroom sink.

The society girls: "...???"

So much for that divorce, huh? :)
